Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Leader?

Whether you are a manager or aspire to be one……..whether you manage one person or one hundred, being a leader requires a specific set of skills.

As I often say, ‘you are given the title of manager, but you earn the title of leader.’

Leaders know how to get the most out of their team and get the project done right.

Do people want to follow you…or do they do so simply because of your title?

Were you seen as a natural leader long before you became a supervisor?

If you look at the research, you will find that true leaders have important characteristics;

They have built a team that is confident in their ability to get things done without being disruptive.

They think strategically.

They coach.

How would you assess your ability as a strategic coach? Do you get the most from your team? Are you comfortable making difficult decisions?

Next week Tuesday through Thursday (January 25–27), I am going to lead a free on-demand workshop that will address these questions and help you along on your leadership journey. Each session will help you put into practice the key elements of leadership.

You will find each of the three sessions on my Youtube page and they will be posted on my website. In order to make them more helpful to you, I’d love to know about some of the areas I should cover. Please take a moment and fill out this three-question survey and in appreciation, I will email you a workbook for the sessions. Here’s the LINK to the survey.

Thank you. And please mark your calendar for next Tuesday through Thursday for this seminar.
